The Observatory reiterates its mission to help transform this wind of change into a positive effect to define a more inclusive and fairer society able to preserve democracy, freedom, and human rights, and whose aim is to fight poverty and discrimination without leaving anyone behind. Following the UN 2030 Agenda, OCCAM is always developing new digital strategies to help marginalized communities.
EWA-BELT Project
It stems from the World Food Security e-Center and falls under the European Horizon2020 Programme, defining SI agriculture models in 25 rural villages across Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, and Sierra Leone.
World Food Security e-Center
The World Food Security e-Center project, launched during the XV IWC and further illustrated during the International Conference 'Beyond Expo': new digital services for food security' 2015, aims to provide digital services to support agricultural development and food security in communities in need through a high connectivity digital Platform, using new sensors and robotic devices.
